With nearly five decades of coaching experience, Coach Carlos has devoted his life to developing players at every level of the game. His coaching philosophy is simple: if he can be part of even one player falling in love with soccer, he has done his job. Carlos believes coaching is about creating an environment where confidence can be built and players learn to carry the game with them for life.

  • Nearly 50 years of coaching experience at the club, high school, and collegiate levels (FC Heat, Vista Storm, Vista High School, El Camino High School, Oceanside High School, Escondido High School, MiraCosta College, Palomar College)
  • Roles included Director of Operations, Director of Coaches, Technical Director, Board Member, Scholarship Fundraiser
