Join City SC San Marcos

Here at City SC we offer soccer programs for all levels, from age 4 right up until age 19. We understand the importance of trying out, hence, we strive to make our tryout process transparent, smooth and as painless as possible for all involved.  Our recruitment process is detailed for our various programs further down the page.

For our Recreational Program (incl. Top Soccer) players do not need to tryout, simply register and have fun.

City SC San Marcos runs two recreational seasons in the year, a 6 to 8 week Spring Arena League and a Fall Recreation League (September to November).

Our Top Soccer program, for 2-18 years old that have medical or physical disabilities, runs September to November.

 For our Competitive Program (incl. City Juniors) we hold scheduled tryout sessions once a year (between Dec-May, age dependent).

Once teams are formed we may still have openings throughout the season so please contact the appropriate HOPD (below).

 For the City SC Academy program, run through our partner club, City SC San Diego, they recruit year round. Our players will be evaluated during regular competitive tryouts, however the recruitment process is ongoing. Typically, players will be invited for a trial period with the current City SC Academy team before being offered a spot.

COMPETITIVE TRYOUT INFO, SCHEDULES & REGISTRATION FOR 2025/2026 SEASON

Our 2016 Boys and Girls tryouts will be:

Monday February 10th at Connors Park from 4:30 – 5:45pm

AND

Thursday February 13th at Palomar-Minkoff Field from 4:30 – 5:45pm

Tryout Registration

Please plan to attend both nights, however it is not mandatory.

Players need to wear soccer attire, cleats, shin guards, and bring water.

Our 2015 Boys and Girls tryouts will be:

Tuesday February 11th at Connors Park from 7:30 – 8:45pm

AND

Thursday February 13th at Palomar-Minkoff Field from 6:00 – 7:15pm

Please plan to attend both nights, however it is not mandatory.

Players need to wear soccer attire, cleats, shin guards, and bring water.

Opportunities Available

We are always looking for motivated players looking for a challenge.  Opportunities are available at all age groups year round.  Current younger age groups include 2019-2011 birth years.  Older age groups include 2010-2007 birth years.  To register your interest or to come out and practice with one of our 2019-2007 competitive teams, please email year of birth, previous club experience or any other relevant info to:
