What do you love most about coaching soccer?
The thing I love most about soccer is building relationships. You meet a lot of great
people but most importantly you build a connection with players and hopefully get to see
that you made a positive and lasting impact on their life.
Who was your favorite soccer player growing up?
My favorite soccer player (once I got into soccer) is Carli Lloyd. She is a great example
of hard work and perseverance. Messi is also one of my favorites as he has a great
story of never giving up on your dreams.
What club team do you support?
The professional team I support is Tottenham Hotspurs in the EPL. COYS!!!!!
What do you look for in a soccer player?
Desire and potential. With that we can conquer the world.
What is your philosophy on player development?
“Winning isn’t everything, but the effort to win is”
Fun, Hard work, Competence – Creating an environment where players want to be
there and want to work hard to improve their ability is the goal.
What is it about City SC San Marcos that makes you want to coach here?
There seems to be a real desire to develop players vs just making money which goes
along with my belief of what this should be about.
